The Modi government is preparing to provide a special facility to 2.5 crore farmers among the beneficiaries on the basis of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme and KCC-Kisan Credit Card scheme.  The government is trying to ensure that no farmer takes a loan from moneylenders as the interest rate is too high and the farmer cannot get out of the loan.  With a government loan, the farmer will now have to pay only 4% interest per annum, which is the lowest interest rate on any loan in the country.

Now it is easy to make KCC

Earlier, the bank was reluctant to give loans to farmers.  The Modi government has made it easier for farmers affiliated with the PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi to fill up KCC forms.  The central government is already approving their revenue records, bank accounts and Aadhaar cards.  The government has decided to provide agricultural loans worth Rs 15 lakh crore this year.

The cheapest loan you will get

The interest rate on Kisan Credit Card is 4%.  Loans up to Rs 1.60 lakh can be obtained without security.  The loan amount can also be increased up to Rs 3 lakh to repay it periodically.

 Where to get KCC form

First you go to https://pmkisan.gov.in/.  This website has the option of KCC form in the Form tab.

Download the Kisan Credit Card Creation Form.  After printing the form you have to fill it.

How to apply

The farmer can deposit this form in his nearest commercial bank.  After preparing the card it will notify the back farmer and then it will be sent to his address.

This form can be used to increase the current card limit and to restart a closed card, except to apply for a new credit card.

The form on this page is easy to fill out.  The farmer must first provide the name of the bank in which he is applying and also the information of his branch.

In the last few days, the government has benefited 111.98 lakh new farmers from the KCC scheme.  Based on this, Rs 89,810 crore has been borrowed.

These figures are for about eight crore beneficiaries of KCC.  It may be mentioned that KCC has been in the process of making the card since February 24 in association with the PM Kisan scheme.
